sang and played this song on my uke for my valentine. pretty sure i sounded horrible considering i was singing with my sick voice and i can’t sing in the first place! but i think he liked it anyways :) yay for effort <3

my first real valentine’s day was pretty memorable. got sick and wasn’t really in the shape to go out but did anyways. he picked me up at around 6 and surprised me with roses. drove to macaroni grill but we would have had to wait for like an hour to eat so i took him to sushi kamon, my favorite japanese restaurant. waited for like twenty minutes until we got a table. the owner lady recognized me even though i wasn’t with my family! she was like “it’s so nice to see you here on your own! ;)” ate some gooood food! then he took me to this “cool place” that was supposed to be a “surprise” but i pretty much guessed it with the first hint. i have no idea how, but i’m just really good at guessing. the surprise was a drive-in theater! like literally no good movies are out these days so he ended up parking in the lot that was showing Joyful Noise. randomest movie ever! it was so bad that it was funny. but it’s ok because we were late anyways and it took us like 10 minutes to find the station and get situated. overall, it was a really nice day and i’m really glad i got to spend it with you, too bad i was sick. :)

p.s. i have no idea why i wrote about my valentine’s day because i never actually blog on my blog. ha! good thing it’s at 1:30 a.m. and nobody’s going to read it!
